At the Scranton Area Community Foundation, we believe strong communities are built through connection, participation, and shared purpose.

Through our Women in Philanthropy initiative in partnership with Jeannine Luby, we invite you to join us for the second event in our 2026 Civic Health Documentary Series—an evening of film, conversation, and community centered on strengthening civic life in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The evening will feature a screening of the powerful, timely documentary, Loud Enough – Surviving Justice.

Loud Enough – Surviving Justice chronicles the poignant journey of an ordinary family confronting a system biased against them, undergoing personal transformation, and embarking on a new mission as activists fighting for lasting change. Through their emotional wins and crushing defeats, this compelling story demonstrates the power of love, tenacity, and community to survive, and explores concrete ways in which the criminal justice system in America can and must change.

Jeannie will moderate a conversation between Film’s Director Hilary Klotz Steinman and Sabrina Hannon, Medical Advocacy Program Coordinator at WRC.
