Donors
We take pride in our commitment to donors, as we help charitably-minded individuals carry out their philanthropic goals. We offer a wide variety of charitable planning tools, including donor-advised funds and charitable gift annuities that help you give to the causes you care most about.
Grant Seekers
At the Scranton Area Community Foundation, we serve the community by providing grant funding to support projects and programs that enhance the quality of life for people of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
NonProfits
The Scranton Area Community Foundation provides grant funding to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations which seek to enhance the quality of life for people in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are committed to serving nonprofit organizations, and we work to build the capacity of the nonprofit organizations in our community through our Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence.
Students
We serve students in Lackawanna County through scholarship opportunities provided by scholarship funds established by donors. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, college, and nontraditional students.
Professional Advisors
We serve professional advisors through our Professional Advisor Council, which is a network comprised of legal, wealth management, accounting, and insurance professionals who work with us to help their clients achieve philanthropic goals. The Professional Advisor Council also advises us about the changing needs of professional advisors, attends education sessions and networking events, and is featured periodically in our publications. Through the professional advisors we work with, we help connect donor’s inspirations to needs within the community.
