This scholarship is awarded to individuals seeking financial support to obtain a certification or degree in the nursing field, including a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or a Registered Nurse (RN), Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), or nurse educator.
This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior from Abington Heights High School who intends to pursue a secondary degree at a two or four year college or university.
– Student must be graduating from a high school in Lackawanna County
– Student must be looking to advance their career through secondary education
– Student must have grade point average of “C” or better
– Student must be involved in school activities, community, and service to others, and be active in sports
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who is the dependent child of an eligible Fidelity Bank employee who plans to enroll in a full-time 2 or 4 year educational institution, and who has a minimum GPA of 2.8.
This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior attending Penn State University as a full-time student who is a permanent resident of Lackawanna county, who is employed full-time at Penn State through work-study or an outside employer and continues working as a full time student, and who has maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher. When the recipient is in a position to do so in the future, he or she must commit to offering a similar scholarship opportunity to others.
