eCornell Certificate Registration Now Open for 2024

In response to the high demand, we are excited to open a second round of registration for nonprofit professionals! The Center for Community Leadership & Nonprofit Excellence continues to meet the capacity-building needs of nonprofit and civic organizations in Northeastern Pennsylvania in innovative ways that help you meet your critical missions. Through a partnership between the Scranton Area Community Foundation’s Center for Community Leadership & Nonprofit Excellence and eCornell, current and emerging leaders in the nonprofit and civic sector can take courses or earn one of 215+ certificates from Cornell University at a heavily discounted rate. As Cornell University’s online learning platform, eCornell delivers executive development and online professional certificate courses to individuals and organizations. Courses are 100% online, are developed by Cornell Faculty, and allow students to learn in an interactive small group format.   After generating a wait list in 2023, we are excited to open up registration again this year. Participants can take individual courses and earn certificates in areas critical to nonprofit excellence at a heavily discounted rate. Through our online grant management portal, individuals may easily apply for courses available through this partnership between the Center for Community Leadership Nonprofit Excellence and eCornell. How it Works

Courses must be applied for and approved by the Scranton Area Community Foundation. Courses are to be taken one at a time and can be done as a single course or in pursuit of a certificate. The tuition cost for each course taken through eCornell will be covered 85% by the Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence.
