2024 Women in Philanthropy Grant Cycle Now Open

Women in Philanthropy is now accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and educational institutions for its 2024 grant cycle.

Grant requests for the 2024 must cover projects in one or more of the following focus areas:

Civic Engagement & Advocacy

Financial Education

Housing

Childcare

Mental Health

STEAM Education

Applications will be accepted until March 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM and then reviewed by a committee. Finalists will have the opportunity to present at the WIP Quarterly Meeting on May 2nd, 2024.

Final grant decisions are made via a vote conducted by WIP supporters. The maximum grant award will be $10,000; the average grant award will be $5,000.

Please note: all grant applications MUST be received through the Scranton Area Community Foundation’s online grant portal.

Women in Philanthropy (WIP) aspires to engage supporters in collective decision-making to help move women from places of disempowerment and poverty to levels of personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency.

This grant cycle will provide the opportunity for organizations working in the focus areas of WIP to receive grants to support their work and advance the goals of WIP.
