The Foundation’s Vision
The Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Scranton, seeks to build up the ministry of Christ, promote compassionate charitable giving and stewardship that honors the intentions of our donors, and abide by Christian principles.
Their Purpose
They will work with donors who wish to maximize their legacy of giving and pass their values along to the next generation of faithful Catholics.
Through the Catholic Foundation, donors can provide meaningful and lasting impact to sustain our Diocesan organizations so they may always carry out their mission to meet spiritual and basic human needs.
The Catholic Foundation staff and the lay and clergy Board of Directors will help donors structure pledges and estate gifts in the best way for them, their families, and the ministries they want to benefit.
Donating
Making a donation to one of the funds in the Catholic Foundation provides an opportunity for caring, faithful individuals to invest in the future of the Catholic ministry closest to their heart. Donors love knowing that by making a gift to an existing Catholic Foundation fund or starting a new named endowment fund, their gift will live on forever.
