About the presenter:

Philip Deng is the Co-Founder and CEO of Grantable, a company with a mission to revolutionize the field of grant writing using AI technology. To date, Grantable has helped over 10,000 grant professionals create more than a million pieces of proposal content to address some of the world’s most urgent issues.

Philip’s passion for making a difference began as a volunteer teacher in the remote coral atolls of the Marshall Islands, where he first learned about how technology can both inhibit and propel progress. Over the last 15 years, his career has been in the social impact space, where he has served in a variety of roles. He’s been a founder and executive director for a refugee and immigrant-focused non-profit, a grants manager for a large-scale land trust, and a freelance grant consultant, bringing in over a million dollars of grant funding for his clients. Philip knows the challenges faced by grant experts and is inspired by the committed professionals who power the purpose-driven sector.

When Philip isn’t working behind the scenes at Grantable, you can find him trying to perfect his butter chicken recipe, playing fetch with his dogs, Harper and Suki, or updating his RV, named Harvey.
