Students, INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?
Students interested in one or more of our scholarships must create an account through our online portal to complete the 2026 SACF Scholarships Common Application, which functions as an eligibility questionnaire. After completing the Common Application, the student will be directed to the scholarship application(s) they qualify for.

Anthracite Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who have played or worked in a golf environment during high school.
Alan B. Cunningham Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from North Pocono High School who will attend a 2 or 4 year college/university as a business or accounting major.
Alexis Caviston-Ashmar Memorial Scholarship Mansfield Nursing
This scholarship is awarded to individuals who are in the 3rd or 4th year of the Nursing program at the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Mansfield Campus and who have demonstrated excellence in service and leadership.
Alexis Caviston-Ashmar Memorial Scranton Knights Rhythm
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Scranton High School who is a member of the Scranton Knight Rhythms, intends to pursue a degree in the healthcare field, and has demonstrated excellence in service and leadership.
American Legion A. Pierson Hurd Academic Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a Valley View High School student who demonstrates need, academic achievement, and participation in school and community leadership and activities
