This fund was established in August 2010 to support a scholarship for a student from Lackawanna or Luzerne Counties who has played baseball in a high school program and will be enrolled in an institution of higher learning following high school graduation. The student must have been a member of the Lackawanna County All Regional Baseball Team as selected by the Scranton Times Tribune, or a member of the Luzerne County Baseball All Star Team as selected by the Wilkes-Barre Citizens Voice and Hazleton Standard Speaker. The scholarship was established by Greg Legg of the Phillies and Red Barons teams and friends.
