The Sheldon Family Foundation was established in 2019 to enrich the lives of people residing or visiting the counties located in the endless mountain region, including Bradford, Wyoming, Susquehanna, and Sullivan Counties. Lackawanna County will also be supported by the fund. The Sheldon Family Foundation emphasizes on these focus areas: Arts, Natural Resources and Conservation, Parks and Open Spaces, Animal Welfare and Protection, Libraries and Historical Societies.
